As a Pizza Maker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality pizzas, meeting customer expectations, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with a team of chefs, kitchen staff, and servers to deliver excellent pizzas to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Pizza Preparation: Prepare dough, sauce, and toppings according to the established recipes and standards. Stretch and shape dough into the desired size and thickness. Apply sauce, cheese, and toppings evenly and artfully.

Cooking and Baking: Operate pizza ovens, ensuring the correct temperature and cooking time for each pizza. Monitor cooking process to achieve consistent and desired results. Remove pizzas from the oven promptly and safely.

Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, appearance, and taste. Conduct regular checks to ensure pizzas meet the required standards for taste, texture, and presentation.

Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing ingredient inventory levels, notifying the management when supplies need to be replenished. Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.

Cleanliness and Sanitation: Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, including handwashing, food safety practices, and cleanliness of workstations and utensils. Follow proper procedures for cleaning equipment, utensils, and surfaces.

Order Management: Communicate effectively with servers and other kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery. Prioritize orders and manage multiple pizzas simultaneously during busy periods.

Customer Service: Collaborate with servers to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly. Address any customer concerns or special requests professionally and courteously.

Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with the kitchen team, coordinating activities and supporting each other to meet production goals. Assist in other areas of the kitchen as needed.

Menu Knowledge: Stay updated on the menu offerings, including specialty pizzas, ingredients, and any changes or additions. Provide recommendations and suggestions to customers based on their preferences.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a pizza making or culinary role is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of pizza-making techniques, including dough stretching, sauce application, and baking.
  • Familiarity with various pizza styles and toppings.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM1,900.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
